PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single end resonance converter where ZVS is performed in all corresponding load regions. SOLUTION: In the switching power supply circuit comprising a primary rectifying/smoothing circuit, a switching element, a converter transformer, a secondary rectifying/smoothing circuit, and a switching element control means, a first primary series resonance circuit is formed of a choke coil PCC and a primary series resonance capacitor C11, a second primary series resonance circuit is formed of a leak inductor L1 generated in the primary winding N1 and the primary series resonance capacitor C11, a secondary series resonance circuit is formed of a leak inductor L2 generated in the secondary winding N2 and a secondary series resonance capacitor C4 wherein resonance frequencies are substantially equalized. Furthermore, a series circuit of an auxiliary switching element Q2 and a clamping capacitor C3 connected in parallel with the series connection of the choke coil PCC and the primary winding N1 is provided, and the auxiliary switching element Q2 is made conductive when the switching element Q1 is not conductive.
