PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner including a case that is not deformed by a force in the case of inserting a cable. SOLUTION: The tuner 1 comprises a high frequency circuit for processing a high frequency signal, the case 10 incorporating the high frequency circuit, a connecting terminal 13 led out from the high frequency circuit and an input terminal 11 for inputting a high frequency signal, wherein the connecting terminal 13 is provided on a bottom surface 18 of the case 10 and only one input terminal 11 is disposed at the side of the bottom surface 18 on a side surface 17a of the case 10. When inserting a cable, a force applied to the input terminal 11 is exerted to deform the case 10 but since the input terminal 10 is provided near the connecting terminal 13 (at the side of the bottom surface 18), the force applied to the input terminal 10 is transported to a mounting substrate and distributed.
