PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of avoiding reproduction stop and restart in a reproducing apparatus. SOLUTION: An AV stream obtained by multiplexing a video stream and an audio stream is recorded in a recording medium (BD-ROM). MOVIE object is a scenario indicating a reproduction process of moving image data described using a command for the reproducing apparatus. Scenario (Java(R) object) of an enhanced mode is recorded apart from this MOVIE object. The scenario is described with Java language and a control process for the reproducing apparatus is indicated.
