PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional method lacks in a conclusive method to alleviate or remove of a spectrum noise by steam or carbon dioxide gas which exists in an optical path, although several methods have been tested so as to alleviate or remove the noise, but there are merits and demerits, respectively, in the case performing an evaluation of structure and physical property of a material by measuring an infrared spectrum using a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FTIR). SOLUTION: A simple and economical method of removing the spectrum noise is introduced so as to become the same concentration in water vapor or carbon dioxide gas at a background measurement and a sample measurement by performing dehumidifing control or humidifing control.
