PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection and separation device, capable of reliably and instantaneously separating an auxiliary rocket motor from a flying body. SOLUTION: A device body part 10 and a rear fixing shaft 51 on the flying body 1 side are connected to a first fixture 40 and a second fixture 52 on the auxiliary rocket motor 2 side. The connection of the device body part 10 with the first fixture 40 is released by effects of an electric ignitor and a piston built in the device body part 10, and the connection of the rear fixing shaft 51 with the second fixture 52 is released in interlocking therewith, whereby the auxiliary rocket motor 2 is separated.
