PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker having a deodorizing device, which decomposes and removes oily fumes and odors generated from a cooking room and does not disturb application of heat to a cooking material for allowing effective cooking. SOLUTION: This cooker is provided with the cooking room 1 housing the cooking material 3, an upper face heating means 4 and a lower face heating means 5 heating the cooking material, an exhaust port 6 arranged on the upper face of the cooking room 1, an exhaust passage 7, and the deodorizing device 8 mounted in the exhaust port 6 and heated by the upper face heating means 4. The deodorizing device 8 is provided with a catalyst body 10 and a catalyst plate 11 having a plurality of pores. In this way, the catalyst body 10 and the catalyst plate 11 in the deodorizing device 8 are heated sufficiently by the upper face heating means 4, so that oily fumes and odors are effectively decomposed and removed while they pass through the deodorizing device 8. Consequently, oily fumes and odors from the cooking room 1 are not emitted to the outside, and since the deodorizing device 8 is arranged not to disturb application of heat to the cooking material 3, the cooking material 3 can be effectively cooked and cooking performance can be improved.
