PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material, a gel coat material and a fiber-reinforced plastic molded article comprising an unsaturated polyester resin composition providing a cured product having improved gloss retention and yellowing resistance after 2,000 hr weathering test by a sunshine weatherometer. SOLUTION: The coating material, the gel coat material and the fiber-reinforced plastic molded article are obtained by using the unsaturated polyester resin composition which contains a specific unsaturated polyester (A) and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B), and of which the cured product has≤17 MPa shrinkage stress on temperature decrease, and≤1 ratio of (shrinkage stress on temperature decrease)/(elastic limit).
