PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new pesticide, especially an insecticide or an acaricide. SOLUTION: The substituted isoxazoline compound is represented by general formula (1) [A<SP>1</SP>, A<SP>2</SP>and A<SP>3</SP>are each independently a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; G is a benzene ring or the like; X is a halogen atom, a 1-6C haloalkyl or the like; Y is a halogen atom, a 1-6C haloalkyl or the like; L is a single bond, a 1-3C alkylene chain or the like; Q is a hydrogen atom, a 1-3C haloalkyl, -C(O)N(R<SP>2</SP>)R<SP>1</SP>or the like; R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-6C alkyl, a 1-6C haloalkyl or the like; R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; R<SP>3</SP>is a 1-6C haloalkyl or the like; m is an integer of 0-5; n is an integer of 0-4; r is an integer of 0-2] or its salt.
