PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which secures high input setting by suppressing power source harmonics with no regard to vibrations or noises from an electronic blower. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with an input selection means 5 for selecting a plurality of inputs to an electronic blower 2, and an input setting means 4 for determining the plurality of input values selected by the input selection means 5. The input setting means 4 is designed to set the plurality of input values outside a prescribed harmonic band, based upon the maximum input value of the electronic blower 2. Therefore, when the inputs are determined, input ranges with high harmonics that are determined according to the maximum input value of the electronic blower 2 can be avoided in advance, which makes it possible to suppress power source harmonics without requiring complicated control of changing phase angles at every Hertz as in the conventional way.
