PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant endoscope capable of not only returning cooling fluid to the proximal side of an endoscope insertion tube but also narrowing the diameter of the whole body of a portion to be inserted into a subject. SOLUTION: This heat-resistant endoscope is provided with an endoscope insertion tube 6 to be inserted into the subject and a bottomed and cylindrical guide tube 33 covering over the endoscope insertion tube 6; and is characterized in that the endoscope insertion tube 6 is formed with a circulation passage 62 circulating cooling fluid to be supplied form a fluid supply means 32, and the guide tube 33 covers over the endoscope insertion tube 6 covering an outflow part where the cooling fluid flows from the circulation passage 62 to the outside of the endoscope insertion tube 6.
