PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device provided with a lighting function that enables a person to use the toilet device at ease when using it in darkness, such as at night, without dazzle by only lighting a required part. SOLUTION: The toilet device is provided with long armrest bar materials 2 disposed on both sides of a toilet bowl 1 in an approximately horizontal position and longitudinally elongated, and a light emitting section 3 for lighting on the lower surfaces of both of the armrest bar materials 2. In this case the armrest bar materials 2 are fixed on the top ends of supporting bar materials 4 projectingly installed on the toilet bowl 1 and the top ends of the supporting bar materials 4 are placed on the outer side of the lower surface of the armrest bar materials 2. The light emitting section 3 for lighting are provided on the inner side of the lower surface of the armrest bar materials 2, which extends over the entire length of the armrest bar materials 2 in the longitudinal direction.
