PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality by preventing increase of noise in an image and improving the density resolution. SOLUTION: An image characteristic quantity variation detection part 34 detects pattern variable regions Az, in which the patterns to be recognized in the body axial direction z are changed, in a plurality of slice images I (x, y and z) reconstructed by an image reconstruction part 303, and a filtering part 342 filters the plurality of slice images I (x, y and z) in the body axial direction z. Here, the filtering part 342 executes different kinds of the filtering process for the pattern variable regions Az detected by the image characteristic quantity variation detection part 341 in the plurality of slice images I (x, y and z) and for other regions than the pattern variable regions Az.
