<p>The invention provides a control arrangement for conrolling the separation of a feed slurry stream flowing to a spiral separator into at least a concentrate slurry stream and a tailings slurry stream in a separation process, comprising measuring means for measuring a plurality of slurry stream parameters; calculation means for calculating how at least one feed slurry stream parameter may be adjusted so as to optimize the efficiency of the separation process; and adjustment means for adjusting at least one feed slurry stream parameter in response to the result of the calculation from the calculation means.</p> |
