<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a color-matched color image by a plurality of image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Exclusive color chart data for a second image forming apparatus are given to a first image forming apparatus to actuate the first image forming apparatus to print a color chart, based on the exclusive color chart data (step S11). The second image forming apparatus scans the color chart printed by the first image forming apparatus to read it (step S12), replaces the scanned data with data in a device-independent color space (step S13), calculates colors near to the colors outputted from the first image forming apparatus to form an artificial color conversion lookup table for artificially reproducing the colors given by the first image forming apparatus (step S14), and saves the formed artificial color conversion lookup table (step S15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
