<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical retardation film which is formed of a resin composition having low refringence, excellent in moldability, has such a property that the retardation value decreases as wavelength of light becomes short and is usable for a liquid crystal display device, an organic EL display or the like excellent in image quality in wide band range. <P>SOLUTION: The optical retardation film is formed of the resin composition composed of polyester resin and polycarbonate resin into which a fluorene skeleton is introduced, wherein in-plane retardation values at wavelengths 450 nm, 550 nm and 650 nm, respectively expressed as Re(450), Re(550) and Re(650), satisfy the following relations; Re(450)/Re(550)<1 (relation 1) and Re(650)/Re(550)>1 (relation 2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
