<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a supporting structure for vehicle with which the supporting structure provided with the action for absorbing and relaxing the shock energy acted to a subject to be supported, permissible to the deformation, can be manufactured inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the supporting structure for vehicle, having a first fixed part for fixing the subject to be supported, a second fixed part fixed to the vehicle body and a connecting part for connecting the first fixed part with the second fixed part and plastically deforming with the load with the connecting part; a first mold 42 and a second mold 44 for forming formed surfaces 421,441 for forming the first fixed part, the second fixed part and at least the side surface of the connecting part and a third mold 46 for forming a formed surface 46a forming the fixed surface in the second fixed part and a projecting body 47 for forming a recessed hole passing through to the inner part of the connecting part from the above fixed surface, is provided.
