PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable which is suspended between a fixed member, such as a vehicle body and a movable member such as a slide door, surely follows the movement of the movable member, and is fabricated easily and at a low cost. SOLUTION: The flat cable 10 suspended between the vehicle body 20 and the slide door 21 comprises belt-shaped conductors 11 and a belt-shaped reinforcing member 12 integrally covered with an insulating cover material 13. The reinforcing member 12 extends along the longitudinal direction of the conductors 11, and the reinforcing member 12 and the conductors 11 are laminated in the thickness direction with the insulating cover material 13 interposed therebetween.
