PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve picture quality by improving uniformity of luminance with places on a large-sized, high-definition display panel. SOLUTION: A display device 10 of the present invention is equipped with the display panel 1 having a plurality of data lines X1to Xparrayed in a column direction, a plurality of scanning lines Y1to Yqarrayed in a row direction, a plurality of pixels P11to Ppqformed at intersections of the plurality of data lines X1to Xpand the plurality of scanning lines Y1to Yq, and a dummy signal line 7 arranged in parallel to the plurality of data lines X1to Xp, a data line driving circuit 2 which drives the plurality of data lines X1to Xp, a scanning line driving circuit 3 which drives the plurality of scanning lines Y1to Yq, and a dummy signal line driving circuit 9 which drives the dummy signal line 7; and the dummy signal driving circuit 9 outputs a dummy signal HOE to the scanning line driving circuit through the dummy signal line 7 and the scanning line driving circuit 3 drives the plurality of scanning lines Y1to Yqin response to the dummy signal HOE.
