PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock device 28 lockable by remote control without a locking action by easily visually confirming a locking state by eliminating anxiety about locking by enabling a user to perform the locking action. SOLUTION: This electric lock device is provided with a locking means 99 becoming the locking state by driving of a solenoid 72, and is provided with a locking lever 37 movable to a locked position from an unlocked position by manual operation by the user. A control means for controlling the locking means 99 has a first mode and a second mode as a locking mode. In locking in the first mode, the locking means 99 is put in the locking state by driving the solenoid 72 on condition that the user moves the locking lever 37 to the locked position. In locking in the second mode, the locking means 99 is put in the locking state by driving the solenoid 72 regardless of a position of the locking lever 37. In the first mode, the locking state can be easily visually confirmed by eliminating the anxiety about the locking by allowing the user to perform the locking action.
