PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of completely removing asbestos causing lung cancer without dispersion since the asbestos is formed of fine particles, liable to disperse, and affects workers and people in the vicinity and neighborhood. SOLUTION: An epoxy resin liquid is sprayed on the asbestos to be removed to harden the surface of the asbestos. The asbestos is left undisturbed for a half day or a one day. Next, the asbestos is removed with care so that it is not dispersed while spraying a diluted solution of ethanol. Since the solution is rapidly permeable, the dispersion of fine particles of the asbestos is not caused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
