PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device capable of clamping a cylindrical or columnar workpiece at a concentric position with a simple configuration, and releasing the clamping state with a simple operating configuration. SOLUTION: The clamping device is provided with a workpiece receiver 20 storing the cylindrical or columnar workpiece 10 to be clamped in the inside. Clamp arms 30 are turnably mounted at a plurality of places in the peripheral direction of the workpiece receiver 20 so as to surround the workpiece 10 in the workpiece receiver 20. Respective clamp arms 30 are energized to the clamp direction by an elastic body 31, and switched between a clamping state and an unclamping state by a clamp release member 40 relatively moving the outside of the workpiece receiver 20 in the center line direction.
