PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing tool for cutting plating metal of a hot dip plated nut in a desired shape. SOLUTION: A positioning part 11, a guide part 12 with no cutting blade and a cutting blade part 13 having a cutting blade are formed from the forward end to the rear end on a shaft part 10. The cutting blade part is provided with at least a single complete thread-shaped part 13B, and a thread-shaped cutting blade 13E is formed on the complete thread-shaped part. The guide part is trapezoidal in section, which is obtained by cutting away the thread apex part of the complete thread-shaped part, and brought into contact with a thread flank of a female screw of the nut to thereby guide the cutting blade part. The positioning part is formed into a cylinder shape having an outside diameter to come into sliding contact with the thread apex part of the female screw of the nut, and the central axis (a) of the shaft part 10 is kept in the state of being aligned with the central axis (b) of the nut.
