PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding apparatus having a hopper which can easily supply clean molten metal. SOLUTION: In the injection molding apparatus, the molten metal is produced by melting an ingot 500 by means of a crucible 11 and is stored in the hopper 12. The crucible 11 and the hopper 12 are arranged at almost the same height, and the height of the liquid surface of the molten metal in the crucible 11 and the hopper 12 is set to be almost the same. Further, piping 130 for connecting the crucible 11 and the hopper 12 is arranged so as to be lower than the height of the liquid surface of the molten metal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
