PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying machine, in which heated air can be smoothly fed into a drum even in a case where bulkiness of clothes is increased as drying proceeds so as to improve clothes drying efficiency, and restrict drying irregularity. SOLUTION: A circular member 45 is provided on a circumferential surface of the drum 4 to partision the inside of a drying chamber to an inlet chamber 3a and an outlet chamber 3b, and vent holes 44 are formed in a recess 42 in a back surface as well as in the circumferential surface of the drum 4. In drying operation, rotation speed of the drum 4 is increased in the second half of a clothes drying process than in the first half. Centrifugal force added to the clothes is thus increased when they are bulkier, and the clothes are biased toward the inside of the circumferential surface of the drum 4, leaving large space around the axis, and facilitating penetration of heated air through the vent holes 44 in the recess 42 into the drum 4. Heated air can thus be sufficiently fed into the drum even after the clothes become bulky, thereby promoting drying. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
