PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding container for frozen confectionery with which frozen confectionery such as ice candy having a complicated shape imitating a character's face or the like can be produced in high quality without causing no deformation or the like: and to provide a method for producing frozen confectionery. SOLUTION: The molding container (A) for frozen confectionery comprises a first mold 1 having a mold part 5 on one surface side 3, and a second mold 2 making slide contact with the first mold 1 in a direction indicated by an arrow A1-A2 along the one surface of the first mold to include the first mold 1, and closely adhering to almost entire periphery of the mold part 5 in an inclusion state.
