The arrangement (10) has a light transmitter and/or light receiver, which is arranged at a housing (12). The housing exhibits a front panel (14) in its side wall, where the front panel is permeable for the light of the light transmitter or the light receiver. A heating device is provided at an outer side of the housing, and is provided for heating the housing. The heating device is designed as an electrically operated stripe heater (20). The heating device is arranged in a safety ring (30) that is manufactured from a heat insulating material such as plastic extrusion profile.
