[PROBLEMS] To provide a ball end mill capable of increasing a feed speed and a depth of cut by suppressing vibration to increase a cutting efficiency. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] This ball end mill (1) comprises ball edges (6a to 6c) having first edge parts (6a1 to 6c1), second edge parts (6a2 to 6c2), and third edge parts (6a3 to 6c3). Since a first radius of curvature (R1), a second radius of curvature (R2), and a third radius of curvature (R3) are set to be different from each other, the vibration of the ball end mill (1) can be suppressed by changing the direction of a cutting resistance (cutting torque) given from a work (20) to the ball end mill (1) in the radial direction of the ball end mill by the first edge parts (6a1 to 6c1), the second edge parts (6a2 to 6c2), and the third edge parts (6a3 to 6c3). As a result, the feed speed and the depth of cut can be increased to increase the cutting efficiency.
