MATERIAL FOR FUEL-SYSTEM PART

A material for fuel-system parts which is excellent in alcohol/gasoline impermeability and impact resistance and is suitable for use as a part attached to a fuel tank or fuel hose. The material is characterized by being made of a polyamide resin composition comprising (A) an aliphatic polyamide resin, (B) a phyllosilicate evenly dispersed in the ingredient (A), (C) an aromatic polyamide resin, and (D) an impact modifier, the sum of the aliphatic polyamide resin (A) and the phyllosilicate (B), the amount of the aromatic polyamide resin (C), and the amount of the impact modifier (D) being 89-50 wt.%, 1-20 wt.%, and 10-30 wt.%, respectively, based on the whole polyamide resin composition.
