PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an artificial nail, which enables the artificial nail having a shape to fit the nail, and having a uniform thickness and a smooth surface, to be manufactured by a simple operation over a short period of time, and in addition, damages of the nail and the skin by a photo-initiator and a ray irradiation, and the generation of a stimulative smell to be avoided. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the artificial nail includes the following steps: (1) A nail-shape flexible transparent resin bag containing a liquid photo-curable resin composition is provided; (2) The flexible transparent resin bag is stacked onto the nail; (3) The flexible transparent resin bag is fixed to the nail under a state that the lower surface of the flexible transparent resin bag is closely joined to the surface of the nail; (4) The flexible transparent resin bag is irradiated with light, and the artificial nail is formed by curing the resin composition by irradiation; (5) The flexible transparent resin bag is removed from the nail; (6) The artificial nail is taken out from the flexible transparent resin bag by breaking the flexible transparent resin bag.
