TURBOFAN AND AIR CONDITIONER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbofan uniformizing a wind velocity distribution in a blade height direction at a fan blowout port, and to provide an air conditioner using the turbofan for its efficient operation.

SOLUTION: The turbofan comprises: a hub 24 fixing a rotational shaft of a motor; a main plate 25 formed on an outer peripheral side of the hub 24; a shroud 27 opposed to the main plate 25 to form a gas passage 26; a plurality of blades 28 disposed between each main plate 25 and each shroud 27; and a bellmouth 22 arranged on an intake side of the shroud 27. A rear edge 28a of the blade 28 projects outward in a radial direction of an outer periphery 27a of the shroud 27. The air conditioner of the invention mounts the above turbofan thereon.
