PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for ameliorating mood disorder by finding out a substance having mode disorder ameliorating activity and not increasing weight of uterine from a highly safety plant extract, and comprising the substance as an active ingredient.

SOLUTION: The composition for ameliorating mood disorder comprises an extract of Tillia platyphyllos as the active ingredient. The composition for ameliorating mood disorder comprises one or two or more kinds of flavonoids selected from a group comprising afzeline, quercetin-3-O-arabinopyranoside, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside isolated from the extract of Tillia platyphyllos.
