<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a positive electrode material, containing lithium iron phosphate with high electron conductivity and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, having high capacity at low rate discharge and is moreover superior in high rate discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a positive electrode material, containing lithium iron phosphate, carbon generated by the thermal decomposition of lower alcohol is carried by lithium iron phosphate.
