<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dendrimer solid acid capable of imparting a polymeric electrolyte membrane with ion conductivity, hardly exfoliated from the polymeric electrolyte membrane, and to provide a polymeric electrolyte membrane containing the dendrimer solid acid, a membrane-electrode conjugate, and a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The dendrimer solid acid having an ion conductive end group on its surface, and the polymeric electrolyte membrane of which the ion conductivity is complemented by restraining the number of ion conductive end groups in the inducible minimum, restraining swelling, and by uniformly distributing the dendrimer solid acid are provided. The polymeric electrolyte membrane minimizes methanol crossover by using a polymer matrix of which the swelling is restrained by minimizing the number of the ion conductive end groups, and shows excellent ion conductivity even in a non-humidifying condition by sharply improving ion conductivity by uniformly distributing the dendrimer solid acid having a large area and hardly flows out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
