MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of color filter capable of manufacturing a high-contrast color filter.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of color filter comprises a pixel forming process of forming pixels by applying droplets of a coloring liquid composition onto a color filter substrate which is provided with a substrate and a black matrix disposed on the substrate using an ink jet method; a resin composition for application process of applying a photosetting resin composition for liquid crystal alignment control protrusion to the surface of the side of the color filter substrate on which the pixels are formed; and a curing process of curing the photosetting resin composition for liquid crystal alignment control protrusion, by performing relative scanning while modulating light based on image data by the use of spatial light modulation devices which are arrayed two-dimensionally.
