<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding aroma to a packaged product enabling a prescribed amount of aroma to be added to containers for products each continuously transferred and mass-produced. <P>SOLUTION: The method for adding aroma to a packaged product comprises the following process: using a device 1 having a chamber 2 which temporarily stores supplied aroma, and a nozzle 3 discharging the aroma in the chamber 2 toward the container, and in which part of members for comparting the chamber 2 comprises a piezoelectric element 5; applying voltage pulse to the piezoelectric element 5 from a pulse generator 10 to periodically deform the piezoelectric element 5; and discharging a prescribed amount of the aroma through the nozzle 3 in accordance with the change in the capacity of the chamber 2 caused by the deformation so as to add a prescribed amount of the aroma into the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
