<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil capable of effectively preventing water from soaking into a plug hole. <P>SOLUTION: A seal rubber 5 disposed between a head 3 and an upper end 62 of an opening of a plug hole 61 is attached to an outer periphery of a cylinder 2 of an ignition coil 1. A circumferential passage 51 is formed between the seal rubber 5 and the head 3, and a hole side interconnecting path 34 for interconnecting the circumferential passage 51 into the plug hole 61 is formed between the seal rubber 5 and the cylinder 2. The seal rubber 5 is formed with a fluid inflow chamber 53 formed with an opening 531 and a first rubber side interconnecting path 54 for interconnecting the fluid inflow chamber 53 with the circumferential passage 51. A second rubber side interconnecting path 55 for interconnecting the fluid inflow chamber 53 with an outside of the seal rubber 5 is formed in an inflow chamber forming wall 532A. The volume of the fluid inflow chamber 53 is greater than any of the volume of the first rubber side interconnecting path 54 and a volume of the second rubber side interconnecting path 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
