<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of maintaining the oppression feeling applied from a webbing in a desired range corresponding to the seat position, the physique of a seated person and the change in posture. <P>SOLUTION: The angle of inclination of a shoulder anchor 34 is detected by an angle detection sensor 40, and the vertical position of a vehicular seat 12 is detected by a vertical position sensor 24.
