The ECU 100 comprises a wheel force calculation section 101 for calculating a lateral force or load acting on the wheel 14 based on detected values or the like of the acceleration sensors 26, and a determination section 103 for determining whether the calculated value of the wheel force calculation section 101 is calculated based on the acceleration or the like normally detected by the acceleration sensors 26 or the like.
