<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus which is controlled in size, can be manufactured easily, ensures effective thermo-electric conversion, and is capable of extending the operating period of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A thermo-electric converter 3 is provided including thin-film heat absorber 33 and heat radiator 34 which are formed almost on the same plane.
