摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which has a liquid detecting device by using a piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge has a first storage chamber 225a, a second storage chamber 225b, and an ink feeding port 230, wherein the first storage chamber is formed on one side of a first diaphragm 222, toward the depth, as viewed from the ink feeding port, and wherein the second storage chamber is formed on one side of a second diaphragm 224 toward the front, as viewed from the ink feeding port. The first diaphragm extends from an upper surface of the ink cartridge downward, and secures an interval with respect to a bottom surface of the ink cartridge, while the second diaphragm extends from the bottom surface upward, and secures an interval with respect to the upper surface. Further a capillary channel 227 is formed between the first and second diaphragms. Thus, ink in the first storage chamber is introduced to the capillary channel by a capillary force of the capillary channel.
