PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve frame phase guarantee and a reduced transmission delay. SOLUTION: A data multiplexing/demultiplexing apparatus disclosed herein performs a multiplexing process by reading data #1 to #8 respectively written in reception buffers #1 to #8. The data multiplexing/demultiplexing apparatus generates an apparatus reference frame phase resulting from delaying a received data frame #1 of the received data #1 written in the reception buffer #1 among the reception buffers #1 to #8 provided to lines #1 to #8 by a time equivalent to a delay set to the received frame phase. Then the data multiplexing/demultiplexing apparatus reads the data from the reception buffers according to the generated apparatus reference frame phase and applies multiplex processing to the data.
