TREATMENT METHOD AND TREATMENT APPARATUS OF CHLORINE-CONTAINING WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and a treatment apparatus of chlorine-containing waste capable of separating and recovering a chlorine component from the chlorine-containing waste with a high chlorine removing ratio, obtaining a chlorine compound of high purity, and reducing an amount of water used for chlorine recovery. SOLUTION: This treatment method of chlorine-containing waste comprises a washing/filtering process separating slurry containing chlorine-containing waste and water into solid matter and filtrate and making the solid matter into a cement raw material; a filtering process filtering/separating precipitate containing heavy metals and calcium formed by adding a reducing agent and a pH adjusting agent to the filtrate; a crystallizing process forming slurry by heating/vaporizing/condensing the filtrate to crystallize a chlorine compound and separating the slurry into solid matter containing the chlorine compound and a mother liquor for recovering the solid matter; and a treating process of the separated mother liquor for returning part of the mother liquor to a cement production facility.
