PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor-type laser apparatus which prevents a power cord from becoming an obstacle when moving the apparatus around the bedside or the like. SOLUTION: A medical laser apparatus is provided which comprises a battery 2 installed on a main unit, a laser oscillator 11 which carries out laser oscillation using power supplied at least from the battery, a laser controller for controlling the output of a laser beam from the laser oscillator, and a laser beam waveguide for guiding and inputting the laser beam controlled and output by the laser controller to a patient's affected area.
