PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method and an operation method of a plant for keeping the plant clean by removing foreign matters adhering to channel wall faces and preventing foreign matter adhesion by using microbubbles for pipes and appliances in the plant where a liquid flows. SOLUTION: The cleaning method involves mixing microbubbles (4) with a liquid (5) to be led to the inside of a plant (1), hitting the microbubbles (4) to an object part 2 to be cleaned in the plant, and removing foreign matters adhering to the object part 2 to be cleaned by using high-pressure micro-jet generated at the time of breakage of the microbubbles (4).
