PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of easily attaching/detaching a filter part together with a part of a suction conduit. SOLUTION: A filter unit 34 constituting a part of the suction conduit whose one end is opened at the distal end of an insertion part 7 to be continued to a suction device 6 is disposed on the way of the suction conduit in such a way as detachable from the endoscope 1. The suction conduit is divided by the filter unit 34 into a treatment instrument side conduit 30 on the distal end side and a suction side conduit 32 on the proximal end side. The filter unit 34 is attached at the position of a treatment instrument insertion part 31 in such a way as can be visually recognized by an operator.
