PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiration function test apparatus which reduces a load on a subject does not require forced expiration, has reduced variations in measurement, and is compact and inexpensive. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a respiration rate measuring means for continuously measuring exhalation rate and an inhalation rate the prescribed number of times or more; a respiration cycle detection means for detecting a respiration cycle based on the exhalation rate and the inhalation rate measured by the respiration rate measuring means; and a respiration rate difference calculation means for calculating a respiration rate difference in each respiration cycle based on the exhalation rate and the inhalation rate measured by the respiration rate measuring means and the respiration cycle detected by a respiration cycle detected by the respiration cycle detection means.
