PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation structure capable of surely fixing a thermal insulation material to a roof and a floor. SOLUTION: This thermal insulation structure has a plate material 4d, square bars 4b and 4e separately arranged on a reverse surface of the plate material, a holding plate 5 arranged between the adjacent square bars and vertically arranged to the plate material and the thermal insulation material 2 held between the plate material and the holding plate 5. The holding plate 5 has a holding plate body 5a holding the thermal insulation material 2 between the body and the plate material, a first fixing part 5b formed in one end part of this holding plate body 5a and a second fixing part 5c formed in the other end part of the holding plate body 5a.
