摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a (meth)acrylamide-based polymer containing phosphoric acid residues in high density and a flame retardant composed of acrylamide-based polymer having a high electrolytic group density. SOLUTION: The phosphoric acid residue-containing (meth)acrylamide-based powdery polymer which has a high electrolytic group density and is an excellent flame retardant is manufactured by radically polymerizing a phosphoric acid residue-containing (meth)acrylamide obtained by introducing a phosphoric acid residue into an optionally N-substituted (meth)acrylamide-based monomer in a ketonic medium and/or an alcoholic medium.
