This material for laser fusion bonding is characterized by consisting of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising thermoplastic resin (A) and glass fiber (B) of noncircular cross section wherein in a cross section perpendicular to the direction of length, the ratio of major axis to minor axis is in the range of 1.2 to 10.
