The device has a writing nib with a light producing device including a light producing unit, a control unit and a power generation unit. The light producing unit is supplied with electrical energy by the power generation unit, and creates a flashing light signal using the control unit. A nib cap (2) is provided in the form of a hollow cylinder including an accommodation space on its inner side. The cap includes an opening to hold the nib and a whistle (24) at an end to produce air oscillations with an air flow for producing a whistle sound.
